Communty Grants awarded from Warminster Area Board

Maiden bradley shop

At its last meeting, Warminster Area Board funded over three thousand pounds worth of community projects. Projects included Maiden Bradley village shop and improved facilities and access to the area around the Copheap war memorial wood. The village shop serves the rural area of Maiden Bradley and the surrounding villages and is a much used community facility. The area around the war memorial at Copheap is being repaired by volunteers and the funding will purchase fencing and gates.
In addition, over thirteen thousand pounds went to projects for young people’s activities.
If you would like to apply to the Area Board for community projects, please check the criteria here. Applications for the next meeting on Thursday 1 March must be submitted by Friday 26 January.
